Synesthesia of Tree Forms, 2024


Synesthesia of Tree Forms (《树状图》) was inspired by Roxanne’s daily commute between her last apartment and studio in Shanghai. The trip cut through a developing countryside called Liuxia Village. This picture-diary-like book includes manipulated photographs and drawings of trees and other plants from the daily trip, that holds her memory and experience synesthetically.



Quarantine Drawing Book, 2024


Quarantine Drawing Book contains 12 prints of drawings Roxanne has made during covid lock-down from 2020 to 2021. The prints are true to original sizes, hand bound and sticked to off-white book papers. Edition of 15, debuted at Singapore Art Book Fair in 2024.  




2025 Calendar, 2024


Calendar of the year of snake (2025) is a continuous project between Roxanne Tingyi Wang and Catherine Hu. The 2025 calendar takes the form of an ouroboros pattern on a 50 x 50 cm bandana, designed by Roxanne and hand printed and dyed by Catherine in Singapore, edition of 45. This project debuted at Singapore Art Book Fair in 2024.




2024 Calendar, 2023


Calendar for the year 2024 is a collaborative project between Roxanne Tingyi Wang and Catherine Hu. Catherine Hu is an artist who primarily works with sculpture, installation and printmaking. The 2024 Calendar project started in January 2023, as Roxanne designed three styles of calendar masks and Catherine proceeded to tan the designs onto red sheets of paper under the Singapore sun. The project was finished after nine months with a production of limited edition prints. Each print varied in clarity, color and design.

Tidal No.1 & Celeste No.1, 2022


Relief prints on wood block. Made during residency at Jiangsu Art Museum Printmedia Material and Technique Research Lab Artist Residency in Nanjing. Edition of 12 each. The twin prints are consist of sybolisms for female organs and queer intimacy.





Chicago in May 2020, 2021


Chicago in May, 2020 is a photo book (pierced ring binding) made by the artist. She documented the streets of Chicago during the quarantine in 2020 with a 35mm film camera. Edition of 10.

Riso book, printed by Perfectly Acceptable in Chicago, 2020. Edition of 200.




The T, 2019


A collection of photo etchings on rice and mulberry paper, bound with ear piercing jewelry. Photos taken by the artist on a 35 mm film camera.
